This is an oil painting of the bluffs and ocean a little south of Terramar Point in Carlsbad. Another oil painting I created (Colliding Waves) inspired me to do this one. Here, I wanted to capture the morning with high waves crashing into the bluffs during a King Tide and pelicans riding the upward winds by the bluffs. On the outside the piece measures about 37.5 inches wide and 25.5 inches tall.
