The old Encinas power plant along Carlsbad Boulevard, which was demolished over a time period of about four years (starting from decommissioning in 2018 to end of 2022).
I went back over a period of more than a year when most of the visible demolition was taking place, and put my camera in the same spot each time. These 5×7” photos are from January 2016, April 2021, April 2022, and November 2022.
The outer dimensions are around 34.5" wide and 14.5" tall including the barnwood frame.
The barnwood frame shown here is for illustration only: as they are made from reclaimed wood each frame has a large variation in color and texture.
