Lifeguard tower 28 at the northern end of Ponto Beach (South Carlsbad State Beach). A winter storm had eroded much of the beach in this part and Highway 101 was under threat of becoming damaged too. The city had put these large boulders here to protect the highway, and provided me with nice lead-in lines for the tower.
This image is available in an open edition at 8x12 inches and smaller and in 6 size-limited editions: 12x18 inches (total of 40), 16x24 inches (total of 30), 24x36 inches (total of 20), 45x30 inches (total of 18), 40x60 inches (total of 15) and in 10 arbitrary sizes.
